Onsite - Somers, WI

The Role:

The Quality Specialist plays a pivotal role in leading the area of responsibility. He/she must ensure that products meet industry standards and customer expectations. This role requires strong leadership skills, with a relentless pursuit of continuous improvement. Quality specialists also elaborate on the sampling and guidelines procedures for collecting and reporting quality data. They analyze customer grievances and other non-compliance issues and make their recommendations based on their findings. They ensure the company continues to comply with industry regulatory and quality requirements. 

What You Will Do:

  • Analyze all customer feedback for trends and continuous improvement.
  • Investigate quality issues to identify root causes and ensure issues are addressed and resolved.
  • Assist in defining and improving processes as part of a team.
  • Review, compile, and analyze information to prepare reports.
  • Utilize data monitoring tools to highlight analysis priorities.
  • identify gaps in efficient process workflow and suggests steps for supplier quality process improvement.
  • Collect, prepare and analyze data for corrective action and process improvement.
  • Support production operations and critical business situations.
  • Provide clear direction for change and assists in change management.
  • Document the results of all inspections.
  • Understanding product quality requirements and serving as a resource for quality assurance and approval as needed.   
  • Actively engage in cross-training to acquire skills and knowledge from various roles within the department.

 

  •  Collaborate with team members to learn and apply multiple functions across different job positions to support departmental objectives.
  •  Adapt to new tasks and responsibilities as needed to ensure team flexibility and efficiency.
  • This is not exhaustive, and the role may evolve based on department needs.

 

What You Will Bring:

  • 2-5 years of manufacturing quality experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point. 
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving skills.
  • Must have good listening and interpersonal skills with good oral and written communications. 
  • Must be able to effectively drive improvement to meet the Quality expectations
