How you’ll contributeÂ
A Assistant Vice President, Physician Services Operations who excels in this role:
Ensures Provide leadership and coaching to Market Directors, ensuring the effective management of day-to-day operations of employed physicians, ensuring standards of communication and information are met, advise leaders on matters pertaining to physician needs and strategy.Â
Identify, communicate, and report on operational challenges and opportunities.Â
Develop operational improvement programs and conduct on-site practice visits to support the Physician Services’ strategic direction; maintain relationships with the Market Director teams, hospital leadership and HSC leadership.Â
Monitor physician practices for efficiencies and effectiveness to reduce practice investments to include, but not limited to, revenue cycle optimization, provider productivity, and provider accessibility.Â
Monthly operating report (MOR) preparation, participation and oversight. - Oversee and assure effective on-boarding of all new providers.Â
Monitor practice start-ups to aid in building existing practice revenue through provider accessibility, marketing, and outreach.Â
Monitor financial performance for all employed providers and practices in assigned markets and collaborate with Market Directors and other practice leaders to ensure fiscal responsibility and adherence to annual practice budgets.Â
Lead the activities and provide development opportunities to those in the Market Director through weekly development calls, identifying education and training opportunities and resources as appropriate.Â
Identify, oversee and coordinate with local physician services team on priority opportunities in provider productivity optimization.Â
Oversee impactful focus on strategic priorities.Â
Monitor key performance metrics and work with RCM optimization team to assure/oversee necessary work plans.Â
Manage quality, payment for performance, alternative payment model, and value-based reimbursement opportunitiesÂ
Utilize staffing optimization tool and ensure compliance with tool. - Regular and reliable attendance.Â

What we're looking forÂ
Assistant Vice President, Physician Services Operations:
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree.Â
Certifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) or FACMPE preferred.Â
Minimum Work Experience: Minimum of 10 years in physician practice management or similar healthcare settingÂ
