The Catalog Leader is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of Wheeler Fleet Solutions’ heavy-duty fleet product catalog, ensuring product data is standardized, optimized, and aligned across internal systems and customer-facing platforms.  Working closely with Category Management, Demand Planning, Purchasing, Sales, Marketing, and supplier partners, this role supports catalog quality, aftermarket data standards, and product discoverability while driving cross-functional business objectives.

This position requires strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a solid understanding of heavy-duty truck parts, fleet maintenance products, and aftermarket cataloging practices, with experience supporting commercial, municipal, utility, or package delivery fleets and familiarity with key product categories such as brakes, steering and suspension, electrical, drivetrain, engine, cooling, lighting, body hardware, mirrors, and preventative maintenance products.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create, maintain, and update product records within Wheeler Fleet Solutions' Product Information Management (PIM) and ERP systems.
- Ensure all product attributes, specifications, applications, interchange information, images, and marketing content are complete and accurate.
- Maintain catalog data utilizing industry standards including:
- ACES
- PIES
- VMRS
- Product taxonomy standards
- Validate supplier-provided catalog data for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
- Support Category Managers with product setup, SKU maintenance, and product rationalization initiatives.
- Work with suppliers to obtain:
- Product specifications
- Images
- Installation instructions
- Certifications
- Technical documentation
- Cross-reference information
- Perform ongoing audits to identify and correct catalog errors, duplicate records, and missing product information.
- Maintain application data for heavy-duty truck, trailer, vocational, and fleet vehicle parts.
- Assist in the development of product hierarchies, attributes, and search optimization.
- Coordinate discontinued product updates and replacement part supersessions.
- Collaborate with IT to improve catalog workflows, automation, and reporting.
- Generate reports identifying catalog gaps and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (INCLUDES EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, COMPETENCIES), ETC.):Â
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Automotive Technology, Information Systems, or related field preferred and a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.
- Or an additional 4 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree
- 5-7 years of catalog management, product management, or data management experience.
- Experience within the heavy-duty truck, fleet, automotive aftermarket, or industrial distribution industry preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills including:
- VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
- Pivot Tables
- Data validation
- Experience with ERP, PIM, or catalog management systems.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Moderate travel (about 25%)

- Medium-duty vehicles
- Commercial vehicle systems
- Experience with ACES/PIES data standards.
- Familiarity with VMRS coding.
- Understanding of OE and aftermarket interchange data.
- SQL or data analytics experience is a plus.
