Bonus: $15,000 two-year commitment 

8:00-4:30 | Full Time | Monday-Friday | Call every 12 weeks for the week and night call every other week from 11p-7am

Job Summary & Essential Functions

  • Provides direct and indirect patient care in the Recovery/Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. 

  • Meets the physical, psychosocial, and cultural needs of patients and families. 

  • Communicates effectively with all members of the healthcare team regarding changes in patient condition or response to treatment. .

Essential Functions Additional Information

  • Patient Populations Served: Neonate, Infant, Early Childhood, Late Childhood, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, Older Adult.

  • Protected Health Information Accessed: Demographic, Clinical, Insurance, Financial, 

  • Complete Medical Record.

  • Exposure: Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is present; may involve contact with patients, blood, body fluids, or specimens.

  • Physical Requirements: Frequent standing, walking, lifting/moving patients, and repetitive hand/arm movements. Regular exposure to biological and chemical hazards, including blood and bodily fluids, hazardous medications, and latex

  • What we are looking for: 

Education: 

  • Associate’s degree in nursing required

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

License: /Certifications: 

  • Current RN license in state of Kentucky or a current multistate license

  • BLS required; ACLS and PALS within 1 year of hire
