TIRE ROAD SERVICE TECHNICIAN

 S&S Tire is a third generation family owned company that started in 1974 in Lexington, KY. Today, we are a leading provider of products and services to trucking companies and related industries, servicing 18 states. We are looking to add a Tire Road Service Technician to our Somerset, KY Truck Tire Team.

Duties performed in this position include, but are not limited to:

• Mount/Dismount/Installation of Tires & Tire/Wheel Assemblies
• Loading/Unloading Tires on and off Trucks
• Tire Repair
• Emergency Road Service
• Availability for scheduled on-call shifts for after hours/weekends

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as an automotive repair technician, master technician, fleet mechanic or in a related role
• ASE Certification or Technical/Vocational education in related field is preferred, but not required
• Experience with industrial Press
• Willing and able to work in a shop / warehouse environment
• Lift/move tires (up to 100lbs) with or without equipment, frequent bending and lifting
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts
• At minimum 23 years old, possess a valid, insurable license
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
