Job Summary
Summary<br>Provides lessons in line both group and private as well as serving as a lifeguard. Monitor recreational areas, such as pools to provide assistance and protection to participants.<br><br>Does this position require Patient Care?<br>No<br><br>Essential Functions<br>-Oversee the Aquatic area for 3 Aquatic pools and Hot Tub area. <br>
-Informs the Aquatic Program Manger when supplies are needed or equipment needs repair or replacement. <br>
-Assist Swim Instructors with equipment or issues on deck. <br>
-Ensure participants meet course completion requirements. <br>
-Organize the class environment to ensure individual success. <br>
-Make sure all swim aids and accessories are put away at completion of your shift. <br>

Education High School Diploma or Equivalent required Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? Yes Licenses and Credentials Certified Basic Swim Instructor [C-BSI] - Data Conversion - Various Issuers required Heartsaver CPR AED [CPR] - American Heart Association (AHA) required Lifeguarding [ARC] - American Red Cross required Experience Previous Lifeguard or Swim Instructor experience 1-2 years required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Talking to others to convey information effectively. - Actively looking for ways to help people. - Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times. - Being aware of others' reactions and understanding why they react as they do. - Excellent interpersonal skills required. - Ability to function autonomously while keeping team members and leaders informed. - Ability to rapidly make accurate decisions, analyze, and interpret information.
