Greater Seacoast Health is looking for a per diem Dental Hygienist to join our Dental Team, providing coverage at our Somersworth and Portsmouth health centers based on scheduling and patient-care needs.

What Youāll Do
As a Dental Hygienist at Greater Seacoast Health, you'll play an important role in helping our patients achieve and maintain better oral health.
You'll:
- Provide comprehensive dental hygiene and preventive services
- Perform dental cleanings, scaling, sealant applications, fluoride treatments, and other services within your scope of practice
- Assess oral and periodontal health and identify individual patient needs
- Provide personalized oral-health education and counseling
- Help patients understand the connection between oral health and their overall health
- Document assessments, treatment, and patient interactions accurately in the dental record
- Work closely with dentists and other members of the Dental Team to coordinate patient care
- Collaborate with professionals across our medical and behavioral health teams when appropriate
- Maintain safe, clean clinical areas in accordance with OSHA standards and organizational policies
- Follow infection-control and proper disposal procedures
- Respond professionally and compassionately to patient questions and concerns
- Maintain required professional licensure and certifications
ā What Youāll Need
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program
- Current license to practice Dental Hygiene in the State of New Hampshire
- Current CPR certification

Position Details
Position: Dental Hygienist
Ā Status: Per Diem, Hourly, Non-Exempt
Ā Hours: As needed based on coverage and patient-care needs
Ā Schedule: Flexible weekday scheduling; shifts offered based on organizational needs
Ā Locations: Somersworth & Portsmouth, New Hampshire
This per diem position works collaboratively with our Dental Team and may provide coverage at our Somersworth and Portsmouth health centers based on the team's schedule, staffing needs, and patient-care needs.
Compensation
$41.00ā$46.25 per hour, commensurate with experience and licensure.
Per Diem Flexibility
As a per diem Dental Hygienist, you'll have the flexibility to support our Dental Team when coverage is needed while continuing to make a meaningful impact for patients in our community.
