About Us
CYVL is a Physical AI company on a mission to bring Infrastructure Intelligence to every city, town, and community on the planet. We help governments plan, build, and maintain the physical infrastructure that people depend on every day — roads, sidewalks, bridges, utilities, and more — better than ever before.
We pioneered an end-to-end approach that combines purpose-built hardware, computer vision, cloud data pipelines, and AI to transform raw LiDAR and imagery into a living, structured understanding of the built world. Our platform turns what used to take months of manual inspection into actionable intelligence that's easy for any agency to use, saving cities time, money, and resources across hundreds of communities nationwide.
At CYVL, we're building toward a future where every piece of public infrastructure on Earth is captured, understood, and continuously monitored — so the agencies responsible for it and the residents who rely on it can make better decisions, faster. That's the power of Physical AI applied to the real world.
We're a fast-moving, high-growth team based in Boston, MA that believes in solving real-world problems with authenticity, simplicity, and boldness. Every member of our team is empowered to take ownership, deliver results, and leave a lasting impact on the communities we serve.
About You
We’re looking for a Videography & Content Creation Intern to join us for a 12-week, project-based summer internship focused on video production, visual storytelling, and multimedia content. You’ll be embedded in real marketing initiatives — producing customer announcement videos, product launch content, on-site customer story films, and building out Cyvl’s visual asset library. Every project ties directly to pipeline, brand, or sales enablement goals already on the 2026 marketing calendar. This is not a learning exercise — you’ll produce tangible, ship-ready assets from day one.
Key Responsibilities
Produce short-form customer announcement videos (30–60 sec) combining city imagery, platform screenshots, and key stats into polished social clips, with versions optimized for LinkedIn, website, and sales email
Travel with the Product Marketing Manager to 1–2 customer sites to capture interviews, field footage, and B-roll for the flagship “Cyvl on the Road” customer story series (2–3 min polished videos plus social cutdowns)
Create monthly product feature videos (60–90 sec) with screen recordings, branded overlays, and motion graphics aligned to the product release cycle
Build and maintain a centralized visual asset library — product screenshots, B-roll footage, reusable motion graphics templates (branded intro/outro, lower thirds, stat cards), and team headshots
Qualifications
Required:
Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
Portfolio or reel demonstrating short-form video work (social content, mini-docs, product videos)
Ability to turn raw footage and screen recordings into compelling, concise narratives
Comfortable shooting on-site in varied environments: events, municipal field settings, and office
Understanding of social video best practices (captions, aspect ratios, hooks, pacing)
Rising junior or senior pursuing a degree in film, media production, communications, or digital marketing
Based in the Boston/Somerville or NYC metro area
Nice to Have:
After Effects or motion graphics capability
Self-directed — can take a brief and run with it without micromanagement
Comfortable in a startup environment where priorities shift and scrappiness matters
Familiarity with Figma for brand asset workflows
What We Offer
Paid, full-time summer internship (12 weeks, flexible start date in June 2026)
Hybrid work environment — Somerville HQ for shoots and team days, remote for editing
On-site travel to 1–2 conferences and customer visits alongside the marketing team
Access to Adobe Creative Suite and professional production tools
A portfolio of publish-ready work by the end of the internship, plus mentorship from the Product Marketing Manager
