Xanadu Ranch GetAway is seeking an experienced and dedicated Horse Wrangler to join our team. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for the daily care, training, and management of our horses, ensuring that they are well-fed, healthy, and ready for our guests to enjoy. Your hands-on experience with horses and extensive knowledge of equine behavior will help you provide a safe and enriching environment for both the horses and our guests. As a Horse Wrangler, you will guide guests on horseback rides, share your passion for riding, and maintain a strong bond with each horse under your care. Responsibilities
  • Care for and maintain the health and wellness of all horses, including feeding, grooming, and exercising.
  • Assist guests with mounting, riding, and dismounting, ensuring their safety at all times.
  • Provide instruction on basic riding techniques and horse care to guests.
  • Monitor horse behavior and health, reporting any concerns to management.
  • Maintain tack and equipment in good condition and ensure proper storage.
  • Help with barn duties and cleaning of stables to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; certification in equine management is a plus.
  • Proven experience handling and caring for horses.
  • Strong knowledge of horse behavior and riding skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and provide excellent customer service.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual tasks and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
