Job Summary
The Maintenance Specialist shall work collaboratively with members of the maintenance and facilities team to perform a variety of integral maintenance tasks and shall strive to always uphold the highest standards of safety. The Maintenance Specialist shall provide general maintenance work and shall repair and install structural components and all other systems throughout the facility. Additionally, the Maintenance Specialist shall provide support to custodians and grounds crew on an as needed basis.

- Performs vehicle maintenance.
- Interior and exterior structure painting as needed.
- Repairs and maintains appliances.
- Repairs and maintains various types of machines and mechanical equipment throughout campus.
- Repairs and maintains locks and keys. Â
- Instructs the clients that are part of the work experience programs.
- Maintains roofs, inspect gutters, and perform roof maintenance and repairs.
- Constructs, repairs, and maintains wooden and metal structures across the facility.
- Repairs and installs plumbing systems.
- Repairs electrical fixtures and outlets. General electrical troubleshooting.
- Performs swimming pool circulation treatment and proper chemical adjustments as required.
- Assists with setup and breakdown of special events when needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

Additional Eligibility Requirements
- Requires valid driver’s license, insurability under company policy, and ability to pass background, physical, TB, and drug tests. Must be 21 years or older.
Physical RequirementsÂ
Must be able to sit, bend, squat, stoop, walk upstairs, and lift up to 50 pounds.
