Also responsible to monitor and manage all inventories to ensure that they have accurate information to meet company expectations.  Responsible to complete monthly inventory close-outs and submit reports to company Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  Primary responsibility for coordinating production activities by preparing Formulas, recipes, batches and internal sales orders, checking the scheduling of the Plant to obtain maximum output of production and controlling the proper stock inventories. Analyzes procedures for possible improvements, which would increase efficiency and achieve better results. Answers technical questions raised by employees and maintains harmonious relations within the department. Assembles production reports as required. Maintains schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders. Plans and schedules workflow for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times. Plans sequence of manufacturing operations for guidance of production workers. Communicates with department supervisors to determine status of assigned production objectives and schedules.  Makes changes as required. Enters and maintains purchase orders and releases into software system.  Assist as a backup in Shipping and Receiving.  Additional responsibilities include inputting production sheets into the computer network system and edit information as required.  He/she will be responsible for generating reports from the computer system as required by management. The incumbent works with general supervision making routine decisions based upon knowledge of the customers, products and services offered by PTC Alliance. The incumbent is expected to understand that all employees have a shared responsibility for the quality of products and related services provided to our customers.  Duties and responsibilities are to be carried out in accordance with the PTC Quality Management System and its policies, procedures and work instructions as applicable to the job or function being performed. The above description reflects the general details considered necessary to describe the principal functions of the job.  As with all jobs, the employee will be required to perform other duties as assigned.   Qualifications Minimum Education and/or Experience Requirements:  Equivalent to a 2 year associate college degree with 3 years’ experience in manufacturing environment.  A bachelor degree in a business related field or demand planning is a strong plus.  This position requires a candidate with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  Close attention to detail is required.  The ability to analyze problems and develop solutions to satisfy customers is a strongly desired skill.  Attention to detail and good organization and planning skills are required.
