Position Summary
We are looking for a hands-on machinist who can independently handle CNC programming, setup, machining, inspection, troubleshooting, and general production support in a flexible manufacturing environment.
This is not a button-pusher position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Setup and operate CNC mills and lathes
- Write and edit CNC programs
- Support medium-run and short-run production
- Build and modify fixtures
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Inspect machined components
- Troubleshoot machining and production issues
- Support fabrication and general production needs
- Work independently with minimal supervision
Equipment Includes
- Haas VF-2
- Doosan Puma 200
- Victor V-Turn 36 Lathe
Experience with Haas and Fanuc-style controls is beneficial.
Preferred Experience
- Haas controls
- Fanuc-style controls
- Prototype or job-shop experience
- Fixture design/building
Schedule
- Typical start times are 5:00 AM or 7:00 AM depending on production needs
