Job Summary

Shambaugh & Son is looking for an Administrative Assistant, responsible for various office duties to ensure the efficient and professional running of the business.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Grow in a career and work closely with a cohesive team.
  • Absorb the required training provided for you to be successful and thrive in this role.
  • Answer telephone, screen and direct calls.
  • Provide information to callers or take and relay messages, as needed.
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support.
  • Support Service Team as needed with overflow duties.
  • Support sales team by preparing bid documents, printing drawings, and following up with customers as needed.
  • Receive and sort mail and deliveries.
  • Plan / organize office gatherings as requested.
  • Other duties assigned.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in computer usage and electronically organized.
  • Efficient with work duties while carrying a positive attitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including professional phone etiquette
  • Possess an upbeat, positive, and enthusiastic attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required
