Job DetailsJob Location: Willapa Medical Clinic - South Bend, WA 98586Salary Range: $24.66 - $47.48 HourlyShift: Full-Time – 4–10-hour shifts Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday 7:30AM-6:00PM, with a potential for additional hours by filling in during the week & working Holidays when needed. Pay: According to the Union Contract - Clinic LPN $27.54 – $47.48 Clinic MA $24.66-$37.89 Benefits: Medical, Vision & Dental Benefits, 403b plan Description: Provides professional care to patients who present with urgent, emergent, chronic, or potential health problems. Provides patient care services under the direction of the provider and/or physician. Works as a team with other clinic staff in providing timely and appropriate patient services. Duties include checking vital signs, recording a patient's medical history, evaluate the patient's well being, change dressings and bandages and assists the provider and/or physician in minor procedures as directed. MA Responsibilities Conducts patient care in a professional manner while demonstrating a caring and compassionate attitude. Answering the phone, scheduling appointments for consults, pre-op's and surgeries. Check patients into the clinic and ensure proper charges for their visit. Complete paperwork for Radiology, Laboratory exams and set up appointments if necessary. Ensure that all of the doctors paperwork has been completed, dictated, signed and filed in the patients medical record. Nebulizer treatment Making Referrals for patients to other physicians, home health and ensuring that they get the proper information. Immunizations Draws labs if needed Surgical tray set ups/clean up Injections IM, SQ Keep exam rooms supplied, stocked, clean and disinfected Set patients up in exam rooms (example: set up supplies needed for their visit) and if needed help them onto gurney. Replaces Sharps containers as needed. LPN Responsibilities Answering the phone, scheduling appointments for consults, pre-op's and surgeries. Check patients into the clinic and ensure proper charges for their visit.  Pull charts for the clinic Complete paperwork for Radiology, Laboratory exams and set up appointments if necessary. Ensure that all of the doctors paperwork has been completed, dictated, signed and filed in the patients medical record. Injections IM,SQ & IV Immunizations Surgical tray set ups/clean up Foley charges Nebulizer treatment Making Referrals for patients to other physicians, home health and ensuring that they get the proper information. Set patients up in exam rooms (example: set up supplies needed for their visit) and if needed help them onto gurney. Ensure all instruments have been washed Prescription authorization and calling prescriptions into Pharmacies. Keep exam rooms supplied, stocked, clean and disinfected Draws labs if needed QualificationsLicensed Practical Nurse Graduate from accredited School of Practical Nursing, Licensed as a Practical Nurse in WA State. Neat and professional appearance. Clinic & computer knowledge preferable. Medical Assistant High school graduate or equivalent. WA state Licensed Medical Assistant Certified. Current BLS Certification. Computer & multi-line telephone knowledge. Good organizational and communication skills.
