Healthcare United is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Gastroenterologist to join an established healthcare system. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the motivation to optimize patient outcomes through exceptional clinical care.

What You Can Expect:

Office Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Physician Schedule:
3 – 4 half days in clinic
3 – 4 half days in surgery
1 full day off
Call Schedule: 1:5
Physician takes 1 full week of call (Friday 8:00 AM – Friday 8:00 AM)
No clinic during call week, only hospital procedures and front-line call coverage
Rotating holiday call
Patient Volumes:
Clinic (Half Day): 12 – 15 patients
Surgery (Half Day): 8 – 10 cases

Support:
3 RN’s, dedicated MA for every physician, 2 in-house surgery schedulers
Hospital-based Nurse Practitioner for new consults and rounds
Clinic-based Nurse Practitioner
Strong mentorship from senior physicians

Specialized Services:
Advanced endoscopist in the group offering EUS and pancreaticobiliary interventions
HD Motility and EndoFlip equipment at the Surgicenter
Oncology services offering a full spectrum of wrap-around care






Requirements


Board Eligibility or Board Certification in Gastroenterology
Active or eligible for medical licensure in the state
Strong work ethic with excellent communication and teamwork skills
Dedication to providing high-quality patient care
Prior experience is preferred but not mandatory; new graduates are welcome to apply
Must be comfortable with both outpatient and inpatient settings
Experience with advanced endoscopy is a plus but not required
