About the Role

We're looking for a Training Coordinator who is passionate about developing others and creating a culture of learning, safety, and operational excellence within our Distribution Center. In this role, you'll serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for assigned departments, helping new and current associates build the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs successfully.

You'll play a key role in delivering SOP training, onboarding new hires, conducting process audits, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Working closely with the Operations Training Specialist, Quality team, and Operations leadership, you'll help ensure associates are trained, engaged, and equipped to meet productivity, quality, safety, and security standards.

What You'll Do

  • Facilitate onboarding and orientation activities for new employees.
  • Coach associates on best practices to improve performance, quality, safety, and productivity.
  • Serve as the go-to resource for process-related questions and training support within assigned departments.
  • Partner with the Quality and Continuous Improvement teams to support quality, safety, and security initiatives.
  • Conduct process observations and audits to ensure compliance with SOPs.
  • Identify training gaps and recommend opportunities for operational improvement.
  • Assist with productivity-related tasks and operational activities as needed to support business objectives.
  • Collaborate with Operations Training Specialists, Industrial Engineers, Quality leaders, and site leadership to review and improve existing SOPs and training materials.
  • Support implementation of new processes, systems, and procedures.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through observations, surveys, audits, and performance metrics.
  • Recommend improvements to training programs based on results and feedback.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to train and coach others effectively.
  • Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable adapting to changing priorities and business needs.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and other business systems.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and a passion for developing others.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 60 lbs.
  • Bilingual communication skills are a plus.
  • 3-5 years of experience in distribution, logistics, operations, training, or a related field.
  • Experience delivering employee training, coaching, or onboarding programs preferred.
  • Proven ability to meet quality, productivity, and safety standards.

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate Degree or training-related certification preferred.

Work Environment

  • Distribution center environment that may include exposure to varying temperatures, noise, heights, humidity, and warehouse equipment.
  • Classroom and office settings for training delivery and administrative tasks.
  • Occasional overtime and flexible scheduling may be required based on business needs.
