We're seeking a highly motivated Business Banking Assistant for our South Boston, Virginia location. This position plays a key role in supporting our Business Banking team by providing exceptional service to commercial customers and assisting with a variety of administrative and banking functions. Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 2-3 years of banking experience, preferably in lending, loan operations, branch banking, or customer service.
Working knowledge of commercial, consumer, and real estate loan documentation preferred.
Strong understanding of banking products, services, and operational procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy.
Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work professionally with customers, attorneys, appraisers, title companies, and bank personnel.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Ability to work independently while maintaining effective collaboration with loan officers, the credit department, LPG, and other bank departments.

WORK SCHEDULE
This is a full-time position. The scheduled hours are Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. This position will be based at our South Boston branch.

Full Salary Range: $20.47 - $27.48/hr. Starting salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
