We are seeking a Compounding Operator for our Dayton, New Jersey plant. The Compounding Operator will be a key player in our plant operations. The ideal candidate will be passionate about our products, dedicated to excellence, and eager to contribute to our mission of providing delicious and refreshing beverages to consumers nationwide.

 

Job Description:

The Compounding Operator will be responsible for

  • Maintain high sterile awareness.
  • Set up and operate blending equipment per Manufacturing Order (MO) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Inspect, unload, and store inbound materials.
  • Process work orders accurately according to the MO and production schedule.
  • Create batch samples for Quality Assurance testing.
  • Add ingredients to blenders, process batches, and calculate quantities.
  • Blend juices and water using various equipment.
  • Able to perform basic math using calculators as needed to adjust batches, and accurately complete batch correction worksheets and related documentation.
  • Pack products on pallets and secure them for shipping.
  • Maintain accurate records.
  • Perform other assigned duties.
  • Ability to use computers.

 

Requirements:

  • Prefer individuals with at least 1 year experience in compounding, blending, or mixing in GMP production environment
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Pass a drug screen and physical
  •  Ability to lift 55 or more pounds periodically.
  • Ability to work around liquid and dry chemicals (including biological ingredients).
  • Typical Work Environment Plant environment, temperature controlled. Working around steam, pressure points, chemicals and other potential hazards.

Salary:

  • $22.06/hour 

Shift:

  • Rotating schedule
  • 6:30am-7:00pm on a 2-2-3 schedule

Physical Requirements:

  • Stand on hard surfaces such as concrete for extended periods, up to 12 hours per shift
  • Lift and carry materials weighing up to 60 pounds
  • Climb stairs, ladders, platforms, and other structures on equipment or buildings to inspect, operate, maintain, or troubleshoot
  • Bend at the knees, twist the back, and kneel as needed to access equipment for operation, maintenance, or troubleshooting
  • Work indoors and outdoors in varying seasonal temperatures and humidity levels
  • Function effectively in areas of high noise while using proper personal protective equipment (PPE)
