 Field Service Technician / Mechanic

Western Branch Diesel, a subsidiary of Indel Power Group, has an opening for a Field Service Technician at our location in South Charleston, West Virginia. This individual should have previous experience as a technician. Indel Power Group is a distributor/dealer for major brands such as mtu, Detroit Diesel, Allison Transmission, Cummins, Caterpillar, Volvo Penta, Freightliner, Western Star, Isuzu, Autocar, and Crane Carrier to name a few. Joining the service team will provide you with a rewarding work environment, excellent pay and benefits, and an opportunity for advancement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform skilled tasks in the diagnosis of malfunctions, repairs, preventive maintenance, adjustments, and overhauls
  • Use OEM software, tools, and technologies to maintain, diagnose, and complete repairs to promptly address and resolve customer vehicle or equipment concerns
  • Commitment to safety and cleanliness
  • Maintain open communication with management team regarding job status, updates, and changes 

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years heavy duty diesel experience 
  • Full set of tools to work on heavy equipment 
  • Willing to work weekends and nights on occasion
  • Perkins repair experience preferred
