In this role, you support product conformance through laser, mechanical, and visual inspection using engineering data and electronic models. You generate precise inspection data packages, collaborate with customer source inspectors to verify product readiness, and work closely with manufacturing teams to validate assemblies. Your work ensures product integrity, supports safety, and contributes directly to mission success.

Schedule

  • This position follows a 1st shift schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Responsibilities

  • Performs laser, mechanical, and visual inspections using engineering data and electronic models.
  • Generates complete and accurate inspection reports and data packages.
  • Presents inspected products and documentation to customer source inspectors.
  • Supports production teams by coordinating inspection schedules.
  • Applies metrology methods to ensure aerospace-quality conformance.
  • Assists manufacturing in verifying assembly accuracy.
  • Understands how customer products may be impacted in the event of failure.
  • Communicates directly with internal customers to support inspection activities.
  • Adapts to applicable changes and customer requirements.
  • Performs additional related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent in work experience.
  • Three or more years of experience inspecting machined parts and assemblies using laser technology and practices.
  • Three or more years of experience performing laser inspection.
  • Three or more years of experience working with customer source inspectors.
  • Detail oriented with strong organization and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in blueprint and model interpretation.
  • Working knowledge of Master Cam and VERISURF software.
  • Working knowledge of laser equipment using VERISURF.
  • Working knowledge of Catia modeling software.
  • Understanding of basic Quality Management System (QMS) reporting, record keeping, and instruction compliance.
