Summary/ObjectiveÂ
The Staffing Specialist position processes work orders from customers, recruits, screens, orients, and hiresÂ
personnel to work at client sites based on order specifications. Staffing Specialists are tasked with working closelyÂ
with clients to ensure the following: safe work environments for our workforce, legal compliance in hiring/firing,Â
and new placements of quality candidates. Â
Essential FunctionsÂ
• Hire, supervise, counsel, evaluate, discipline, and recommend changes in employee status.Â
• Consistently orient/on-board new associates to standards established for each customer.Â
• Administer company policies and procedures.Â
• Maintain applicant flow through placement of ads, development of recruiting sources, and analysis ofÂ
weekly and monthly recruiting source reports.Â
• Regularly review work orders and interact with customers.Â
• Develop and update orientations for new and current clients.Â
• Set up new pay and bill rates with manager’s approval.Â
• Administer assessments as required by client.Â
• Receive, process, and analyze work orders from customers.Â
• Process merit, tenure, or incentive increases.Â
• Submit Billing Source Documents as appropriate for each customer.Â
• Communicate and resolve with customer any invoice non-payment.Â
• Manage cases of injured employees during working hours to include accident investigation andÂ
completion of Accident/Injury Report and Worker’s Compensation Packet. Â
• Attend unemployment hearings.Â
• Attend workers’ comp hearings.Â
• Maintain excellent level of customer service by visiting client site at predetermined level.Â
• Maintain excellent level of customer service by establishing predetermined levels of candidates in KanbanÂ
pools to ensure quick turnaround for job orders.Â

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such asÂ
computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Further, this job may require occasionalÂ
presence at customer sites, both in administrative and manufacturing environments. Customer sites sometimesÂ
include process manufacturing equipment and heavy power industrial vehicles. Environments may vary from non
temperature controlled environments to GMP clean room required.Â
Physical DemandsÂ
• Ability to lift 5 – 20lbs periodically and 50lbs on occasionÂ
• Ability to stand/walk for up to 4 hoursÂ
• Ability to climb stairs multiple times a dayÂ
• Ability to sit for up to 4 hoursÂ
TravelÂ
Limited travel will be required but prefer the ability to travel overnight.Â
