Job Description

As a Security Officer Truck Gate Full Time in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a logistics and distribution location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will conduct routine rounds, report security-related concerns, support access procedures, and provide professional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $16.39 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, parking areas, entry points, warehouse perimeters, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by observing vehicle and pedestrian traffic, checking credentials when required, and documenting visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrols, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
