About the Role:
Multi Logistics Inc is looking for a skilled and dependable CDL Class A Rail Driver to join our growing team in South Gate, CA. Responsibilities:
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport Amazon freight to and from rail yards and distribution centers in the South Gate, CA area
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT regulations
- Coordinate with rail yard personnel for timely pickup and drop-off of intermodal containers
- Maintain accurate driver logs, trip records, and delivery documentation using electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ensure safe and on-time delivery of freight while adhering to all traffic and transportation laws
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and logistics coordinators regarding route updates and delays
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicle
Requirements:
- Valid CDL Class A license required
- Minimum 1-2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience
- Experience with intermodal, rail yard, or drayage operations preferred
- Clean MVR and satisfactory driving record
- Must pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet tight delivery schedules
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and professional demeanor
