Due to steady growth, Boswell Engineering now has an exciting growth opportunity for a talented proven Senior Electrical Engineering Manager (licensed PE required) to support our Power & Energy Team’s Commercial & Industrial expansion reporting to our South Hackensack, NJ office. This EE Manager of C&I (Commercial & Industrial) will report directly to our VP of Engineering for Power & Energy and successfully fulfill the following responsibilities:                                                                                                                                         Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Management Lead and mentor a team of electrical engineers, ensuring they have the resources and support to succeed Oversee the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high standards, while also managing budgets, resources, and vendor relationships Manage team performance, conduct performance reviews, and provide feedback  Foster a collaborative and positive team environment Project Management Oversee the entire electrical engineering process, from initial concept to final product for our Commercial & Industrial Facilities markets which include electric utilities, data center mission critical operations, and other facilities electric power systems Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and schedules Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget while managing project risks Technical Expertise Possess a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices Design, develop, and implement electrical systems and equipment Stay up to date on the latest industry trends and technologies Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations Client & Stakeholder Management Manage client expectations and ensure project deliverables meet their needs  Build and maintain strong relationships with clients Budget & Resource Management Develop and manage project budgets Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships Other Responsibilities Business Development:  such as identifying new opportunities and developing proposals Developing and implementing engineering policies and procedures Recruitment and hiring of electrical engineers at all levels Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required while a Master’s degree in Industrial Management is highly preferred, together with active Professional Engineering (PE) licenses in both NY and NJ. Experience: 15+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with 10+ years of leadership and direct management experience in the Commercial & Industrial Facilities market which includes electric utilities, data center mission critical operations, and other facilities electric power systems We recognize that the best way to provide services of the highest quality is by investing in our employees.
