At Legacy Building Solutions we provide building solutions for more than a dozen industries and within a variety of applications including military, states/municipalities, agricultural buildings, equine riding arenas, aviation facilities, and sports complexes.  Our manufacturing headquarters is located in South Haven, MN.  We are growing and in need of a full-time experienced industrial painter to job our team.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Efficient with painting equipment and procedures to meet company standards
- Experience with forklifts/combi-lift, overhead cranes and power tools
- Responsible to maintain paperwork organized and keep up to date
- Organized and detail oriented
- Communicate job progress to supervisor as needed
- Cleans work area, machines, tools and equipment
- Layout, position, align and secure parts prior to painting
- Operates safety equipment and uses safe work habits while performing his/her job function
- Able to read a tape measure
- Responsible for following quality standards and inspects parts for quality before and after painting
- Perform other duties as assigned including the ability to cross train in other areas of the plant

ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Must be willing to operate a forklift in safe and efficient with the ability to obtain a certification
- Respirator certified and able to pass respirator certification test annually
- Positive attitude and desire to work as a team player
- Ability to cross train in other areas of the plant/business
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous history of consistent attendance with the ability to be to work on time on daily basis
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
- stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and talk or hear. Â
- The employee is frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Â
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move more than 50 pounds. Â
- Work in extreme cold and heat; and/or wet and humid conditions
- Follow safety procedures including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment
