5 Star Family Dental in South Suburbs of Chicago is looking for a reliable, friendly, and team-oriented Dental Assistant to join our family. We are a family oriented, patient-centered dental practice in the heart of South Holland, IL. We have been an established practice for over 20 years! Our team works together to provide exceptional dental care in a warm, welcoming environment, all while having fun along the way! We are a 1 doctor practice with 6 operatories with modern technologies! We have created a kind, team oriented, and positive culture!

Job Duties:

Assist the dentist during procedures with efficiency and care
Take and process dental X-rays
Sterilize and set up instruments and operatories
Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout their visit
Greet and check in patients with warmth and professionalism
Answer phones, schedule appointments, and assist with front office duties
Support insurance verification and billing processes
Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix Ascend software

Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year of dental assisting experience
Front desk experience helpful but not required
Familiarity with Dentrix Ascend software is a plus
Strong communication skills, friendly attitude, and a commitment to teamwork
Willingness to be cross-trained and step in where needed

Office Hours: Tuesday – Thursday: 7:30am – 5pm & Fridays: 7:30am - 2pm

Compensation: $20-27/hour
