Job Description:
Under the direction of the Supervisor, Technical Services or designate, the Electronics Technician I is responsible for diagnosis, calibration, repair, and overhaul of all electronic, logic and digital equipment and electro-mechanical devices, as operated by Pace.
- Maintaining all records and forms in conformance with all regulations, and in accordance with the requirements of Pace.
- Must be able to understand and operate special test equipment to support maintenance and repairs, operate maintenance vehicles and perform various other duties associated within the Technical Services department.
- Performing other duties as assigned or required. Other duties as assigned or required.
Qualifications
Age:
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Education:
Must have at minimum a high school diploma or equivalency.
Experience:
Must have at least 3 years' experience working in the field of electro-mechanics including logic systems, digital circuitry, and electro-mechanical devices with good work history.
Certifications:
Must have a valid driver's license.
Proficiencies:
Must demonstrate intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Must possess and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills: good written and verbal communication skills.
Must be able to handle confidential and/or sensitive information in a professional manner.
Physical Requirements:
This role requires sitting for extended periods, typing on a computer, and attending meetings.
Working Conditions:
This position is based on an office setting, with standard office equipment, including a computer, phone, and desk space. The business needs of Pace may require operating a bus in all weather conditions and being exposed to inclement weather. The performance of these duties may be required 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. This is a safety sensitive position. This position is not eligible for a hybrid work schedule or remote work.
Salary
Full Salary Range: $47,361 - $97,152
Salary Midpoint: $72,256
Anticipated Starting Salary Range: $59,809 - $72,256
