WSP is currently initiating a search for a Full-Time Construction Inspector (UDOT CITP Level II) for our South Jordan, UT office for projects based in Utah.  Be involved in projects with our Construction Management Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges.
Your Impact
- Read and interpret project plans and specifications
- Monitor construction for compliance with project documents
- Measure, calculate, and document quantities of installed materials in accordance with client policies and proceduresÂ
- Prepare daily work reports; prepare and maintain documentation of contractor work performed, materials testing and traffic control based on construction plans and specifications; using Masterworks, spreadsheets, and other electronic or manual means
- Inspect road and bridge construction (based on UDOT Standards)
- Experience with UDOT documentationÂ
- Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
- Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.

Who You Are
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma and a minimum of 5 years of construction experience
- UDOT Masterworks Trained
- UDOT CTP Level II
- ACI Level I or Level II Concrete Certification
- Experience on UDOT projects
Valid Utah driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bituminous Paving Experience
- Concrete Paving Experience
- Direct experience working for UDOT or another firm with UDOT exposure
- ATTSA Traffic Control Certification, Sampling Reduction & Density (SRDTT), Moisture/Density Gauge Certification, ACI or CTT Concrete Certification or the ability to become certificated within 2 months of hire
