Dental Office Manager — Herriman, Utah

Full-Time | Private Practice | 100% PPO/FFS | Established & Growing Office

A respected, privately owned, doctor-led dental group is seeking an experienced Dental Office Manager to lead daily operations at its established practice in Herriman, Utah.

This is a growing, high-quality PPO and Fee-for-Service practice with strong patient demand, an experienced clinical team, advanced technology, and a comprehensive approach to dentistry.

We’re looking for more than someone who can manage the front desk. We need a hands-on leader who can own the business operations of the office, develop the team, protect the patient experience, and help the practice continue to grow.

Join a Healthy, Growing Practice

The Herriman office has strong fundamentals already in place:

  • Approximately 40 new patients per month YTD

  • Nearly $100,000 in office production in both June and July
  • Established PPO and Fee-for-Service patient base
  • Comprehensive clinical offering including restorative dentistry, endodontics, surgery, and implants

This is an opportunity to step into an established office with real momentum — and help take it to the next level.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of dental office management or senior dental front-office experience
  • Strong understanding of:
    • PPO dental insurance and benefit verification
    • Treatment plan presentation and financial arrangements
    • Patient scheduling and schedule optimization
    • Accounts receivable and collections
    • Check-in / check-out workflows
    • Practice KPIs and daily operational performance
  • Confident, professional leadership presence
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to hold team members accountable while maintaining a positive culture
  • Comfortable discussing treatment and helping patients understand their financial options
  • Organized, proactive, and able to anticipate problems before they disrupt the day

About the Role

As the Dental Office Manager, you will be the operational leader of the practice.

You will:

  • Lead daily practice operations
  • Conduct effective morning huddles
  • Manage and optimize the doctor and hygiene schedules
  • Support strong case acceptance and patient follow-through
  • Oversee insurance, collections, A/R, and front-office workflows
  • Coach and develop front-office team members
  • Partner closely with the doctor and clinical team
  • Track key practice metrics and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Maintain an exceptional patient experience from first call through checkout
  • Help create the structure and accountability necessary for continued practice growth

This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who enjoys being responsible for both the people and the performance of an office.

The office utilizes modern technology and comprehensive clinical workflows, including:

  • CEREC Primescan and Primemill
  • CBCT imaging
  • Digital dentistry
  • Cloud-based practice management
  • AI-supported treatment planning technology
  • Established hygiene and clinical support teams

Compensation & Benefits

Who Will Thrive Here
