Front Office Coordinator — Riverton, Utah

Full-Time | Private Practice | High-Growth Office | $15–$18/Hour

A respected, privately owned dental group is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Front Office Coordinator to join its growing practice in Riverton, Utah.

This is a smaller, relationship-driven office with one doctor, four operatories, and strong growth potential. You'll join a close-knit team where your contribution has a direct impact on the patient experience and the continued success of the practice.

We're looking for someone who can keep the schedule organized, communicate confidently with patients, support treatment follow-through, and help the office operate smoothly every day.

Why This Opportunity Stands Out

  • Privately owned, doctor-led practice
  • Smaller 1-doctor, 4-operatory environment
  • Growing patient base with significant upside
  • Modern, comprehensive dentistry
  • Close-knit, team-oriented culture
  • Opportunity to grow professionally as the practice expands
  • Your work is visible, valued, and important

What You'll Do

As the Front Office Coordinator, you'll help manage the patient experience from the first phone call through checkout.

Responsibilities include:

  • Greeting patients and creating a warm, professional first impression
  • Answering incoming calls and responding to patient questions
  • Scheduling and confirming appointments
  • Maintaining an organized and productive doctor and hygiene schedule
  • Verifying insurance benefits and eligibility
  • Reviewing treatment plans and estimated patient portions
  • Collecting patient payments
  • Managing check-in and check-out
  • Following up on unscheduled treatment
  • Supporting recall and patient reactivation
  • Maintaining accurate patient information and documentation
  • Communicating closely with the doctor, assistants, hygiene team, and office leadership

What We're Looking For

Dental front-office experience is preferred, particularly experience with:

  • Dental scheduling
  • Insurance verification
  • Treatment plan coordination
  • Patient collections
  • Check-in and check-out workflows
  • Dental practice management software

We're also looking for someone who is:

  • Friendly and confident with patients
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Reliable and accountable
  • Comfortable handling phones and a busy front desk
  • Professional and solution-oriented
  • Able to multitask without losing attention to detail
  • Positive, proactive, and team-focused
  • Comfortable discussing treatment costs and collecting payment

ā¤ļø Patient Experience Matters

In a smaller practice, the front office plays an especially important role.

Patients quickly learn who you are, and you'll become a trusted point of contact for scheduling, insurance questions, treatment coordination, and financial arrangements.

We're looking for someone who communicates with clarity, empathy, confidence, and professionalism while helping create the kind of experience that keeps patients returning and referring friends and family.

Comprehensive Private Practice

The office provides comprehensive general dentistry in a modern clinical environment, including:

  • Preventive dentistry
  • Restorative dentistry
  • Same-day dentistry
  • Endodontics
  • Oral surgery
  • Implant dentistry

The practice is intentionally smaller and efficient, allowing the doctor and team to build strong patient relationships while continuing to grow.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $15–$18/hour, based on experience
  • Full-time, W-2 position
  • Benefits available
  • Predictable practice schedule
  • Long-term growth opportunity within an established private dental group

Who Will Thrive Here

This role is a strong fit for someone who:

  • Enjoys being part of a smaller, close-knit team
  • Takes ownership of the schedule and patient experience
  • Likes helping patients solve problems
  • Notices details others miss
  • Can stay calm and organized during busy periods
  • Wants to help a growing practice reach the next level
  • Values the culture and personal connection of private practice

If you're looking for a growing dental practice where your work matters and you can grow with the team, we'd like to hear from you.
