Member Support Specialist

We are seeking detail-oriented and organized Member Support Specialists to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes initiative, and enjoys helping others. The Member Support Specialist will assist members with questions about their health benefits, guide them through enrollment or service issues, and support various day-to-day operations. This person will also contribute to improving processes, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring a high-quality member experience.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL DO IN THIS ROLE:

• Assist members via inbound and outbound phone calls regarding their company provided health insurance plan
  
• Review, analyze, and address account discrepancies and claims history
• Utilize internal resources and multiple systems to address questions and concerns
• Provide a positive customer experience using a happy, upbeat tone
  
• Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by management of the company

HERE’S WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Healthcare Customer Service experience is ideal - experience as a Receptionist, Medical Administrative Assistant, Patient Service Representative, etc. 
• Tech savvy with the ability to navigate PC systems and text messaging tools
  
• Microsoft office experience
• Experience taking calls, resolving issues, following up on escalated issues, etc. 
  
• The ability to multitask using several internal system while addressing member concerns
• Available to work Monday - Friday 8am-5pm. Weekends shifts are available, if desired. 
• Spanish/English Bilingual is preferred
