Job Description

As a Security Officer Computer Monitoring in South Jordan, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support patients, visitors, and staff through exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to security-related needs. Pay Rate: $17.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel at a healthcare-related location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and vendor credentials, maintain visitor records, and support site access requirements in accordance with facility policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business operations and perimeter locations, while reporting unusual conditions or maintenance concerns.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
