ELS is hiring for the position of Guest Relations in Lake Tahoe, California.What you'll do:Ā
The Guest RelationsĀ position may include walking or patrol of the grounds of the campground answering questions, enforcing rules and ensuring the safety of our guests and their belongings.Ā The ideal employee can handle any stressful situation in a calm manner and react accordingly with regards to local, state and federal law.Ā
Your job will include:Ā
- Monitor the property with a keen eye for any property issues or potential problems.Ā
- Ensure that the property is properly secured.Ā
- Ensure that guests comply with resort rules, respond to areas of concern and contact law enforcement if necessary.Ā
- Monitor all incoming guests through the campground gate and validate if access is acceptable.Ā
- Perform routine patrols and rental inspections.Ā
- Take camping reservations, check people in and out and sell day passes.
- Prioritize guest safety and happiness.Ā
- High school diploma or equivalent.Ā
- Basic reading, writing and math skillsĀ and the ability to use computer applications.Ā
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.Ā
- Ability to assess a situation, use quick and reasonable judgment and resolve problems diplomatically.Ā
- Exceptional customer service and communications skills and a friendly demeanor.Ā
- Experience working in security and/or law enforcement, and/or working in an RV environment, is a benefit.Ā
- Valid driverās license, good driving record and current auto insurance.Ā
- Ability to work shift work, weekends, holidays and on-call on a regular basis.Ā

Estimated compensation for this position in the states of CA, CO, IL, MA, MD, MN, NJ, NY, VT and WA is:
Hourly: $16.90 - $16.90The salary listed is an estimate and not guaranteed. A salary offer will vary based on applicantās education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data. In addition to the base pay and our benefits, some positions are eligible for bonuses, sales commissions, or incentive pay.
