BEACH ATTENDANT - FURNITUREÂ
THE BEACH FURNITURE ATTENDANT’S PRIMARY DUTY IS TO ASSIST BEACH GUESTS LOOKING TO RENT BEACH FURNITURE OR BEACH UMBRELLAS FROM 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
Work environment is outdoors with potential exposure to sun, wind, sand, smoke, inclement weather
 SPECIFIC DUTIES:
- Set up facility for daily operations
- Greet everyone in a friendly manner, and remind them of rules.
- Assist guest by taking rented furniture of choice to desired location, using wheel cart for heavier loads.
- Umbrellas must be corkscrewed into the sand by the Beach Furniture Attendant.
WHEN NEEDED:
- During slow periods Beach Furniture Attendants may be asked to assist Front Gate Attendants if needed and able:
- Check for wristbands to both ensure payment or pass/voucher has been provided and confirm if a “guest of an LPA member” to provide 50% discount off furniture rental. Process credit card payments using a Samsung Point-of-Sale system.
- Ensure no prohibited items (glass bottles, alcohol, drugs) are brought onto the beach by checking coolers upon entry.
- Provide excellent customer service and present yourself in a clean and professional manner.
- Be able to handle a high volume of customers.
- Be dependable and adhere to work schedule and follow through on challenges as they arise.
- Keep pathways clean. Check, clean, and restock restrooms.
