Why Join Us?

At D'Ambrosio Eye Care, their mission is clear: to be the finest eye care provider in Massachusetts.  With six well-known, long-standing locations throughout Central Massachusetts, they serve a large patient base, seeing an average of 600 new patients per month.  The practice thrives on a strong team environment, emphasizing collaboration not only between MDs and ODs, but also across all staff and the supportive management team.  Deeply rooted in their communities, they donate annually to a variety of local causes.

You'll find a truly collaborative atmosphere with robust co-management opportunities between MDs and ODs.  They boast onsite MD specialists in pediatrics, glaucoma, cornea, retina, and oculoplastics, providing an incredible resource for learning and patient care.  Their optical staff is state-licensed and highly trained, contributing to their team of 92 dedicated employees.

Beyond patient care, D'Ambrosio Eye Care is committed to education.  They proudly teach optometry externs from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, are involved in a residency program from UMass, and run a highly successful apprenticeship program in optical.  Their dedication to advancing eye care extends to being involved in multiple FDA studies and regularly presenting at conferences worldwide.

  • Competitive compensation
  • Medical and dental insurance
  • Life and long-term disability insurance
  • Paid holiday, sick, and vacation time off

What You'll Do:

You’ll provide full-scope optometry, working primarily Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  The practice is exceptionally well-equipped, offering a comprehensive array of optometry equipment including (but not limited to) visual fields, OCT, fundus cameras, corneal topographers, and auto-refractors. They also utilize a fully certified EMR system to ensure efficient and accurate patient management.  With approximately 200-250 patients seen daily across all offices, you'll gain extensive experience and contribute significantly to patient well-being.
