The Linen Department Associate position is part of a team responsible for linen production flow activities under the direction of the Linen Department Supervisor and/or the Operations Assistant Director. Duties & Responsibilities: Following the best practices for safety Examine and sort linen according to color, fabric, and cleaning technique Assist in the laundering process for table linens, napkins, chair covers, draperies etc Operate commercial linen press, washer, and drier equipment Conduct product quality control inspections Assist with the packaging of processed linens Lift laundered linens onto storage rack system Assist in pulling/preparing linen orders for delivery to customers Adhere to all company policies, procedures, rules, and regulations Additional duties as assigned QualificationsQualifications Include: Ability to work cohesively as part of a team Must have a positive attitude Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, and weekends Must be able to lift up to 50 lb Must be at least 18 years of age
