Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Electronic Controls Project Leader. 

The expected annual salary range for this role is $86000 - $126000 a year.

What you’ll do:

Eaton's Power Reliability Division is looking for an Electronic Controls Project Leader to help shape the future of power management solutions. In this high-impact role, you'll lead cross-functional teams through the development and delivery of innovative electronic controls, relay, and switchgear products—from concept through launch. This position is based at our South Milwaukee, WI facility and offers a hybrid work schedule. (3 days office/2 days remote)

•    Lead medium- to large-scale NPI and VAVE projects from concept through launch. 
•    Manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk. 
•    Partner with product owners and development teams to define requirements and deliver solutions that meet customer and business needs. 
•    Drive collaboration across software, firmware, hardware, testing, and manufacturing teams throughout the product lifecycle. 
•    Develop and maintain project plans, monitor progress, and communicate project status to key stakeholders. 
•    Ensure consistent use of project management best practices, metrics, and reporting. 
•    Provide regular updates on project health, milestones, risks, and mitigation plans to business and divisional leadership.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
-Minimum of two (2) years of engineering experience in project leadership and/or product development

Preferred Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
-Experience with Project Management methodologies, processes, and tools
-Proven experience leading cross-functional and global teams in new product development. 
-Knowledge of embedded systems, multi-core processors, and real-time operating systems (RTOS). 
-Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. 
-Knowledge of power systems, switchgear, relay, or control products preferred. 
-Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification. 
-PMP certification or formal project management training.
