Maine Veterans’ Homes – South Paris is seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Clinical Instructor. In this role, you will help lead our CNA Training Program by teaching, mentoring, and supporting future CNAs as they begin their healthcare careers.

What You’ll Do as A RN Clinical Instructor:

  • Interview and assist in selecting candidates for the CNA Training Program
  • Teach and facilitate CNA curriculum and clinical instruction
  • Serve as a mentor and resource for students and staff
  • Partner with the Staff Development Coordinator on educational initiatives and training opportunities
  • Support a positive learning environment focused on excellence in resident care
  • Participate in the home’s on-call rotation

Qualifications for the RN Clinical Instructor:

  • Current, unencumbered RN license in the State of Maine
  • Experience and/or training in education or staff instruction preferred
  • Ability to organize, direct, and facilitate learning programs
  • Flexible schedule to support training and educational needs
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to effectively communicate with residents, families, staff, and students
