Job Description:

Chemical analysis and additions. 

External analysis (coordinate with our Supplier)

Chemical inventory.

Bath change scheduling

Water sampling and data collection.

Notify Process Engineering of any out-of-spec conditions. 

Has authority to shut down any chemical process as warranted.

Responsibilities include:

Receiving, labeling, and safely storing samples to be tested

Determining and performing tests needed for the analysis and report.

Recording tests and analyses and then reporting the results

Discussing and answering any questions regarding the results

Organizing and storing samples in accordance with all safety and other requirements to ensure the safety of personnel and integrity of the sample.

Cleaning and maintaining lab equipment, including recalibration of equipment.

Maintaining equipment records and daily work logs.

Process the work orders as directed with the intent to meet the production schedule and multitask as able to improve workflow.

Perform light preventative maintenance on production equipment as assigned.

 

Qualifications

Requirements:

Required: High School Diploma or AS degree in Chemistry

Preferred: BS degree in chemistry
