Job Description:

Primary Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate numerical control drilling machines to drill holes into printed circuit boards (PCBs) according to specifications.
- Load program files containing the necessary commands into the machine or enter commands to retrieve programmed control data.
- Review setup instructions, blueprints, and work orders to determine drilling requirements and machine settings.
- Load and unload PCB panels onto the drilling machines, ensuring proper alignment and secure placement.
- Maintain drill bits by replacing any worn or damaged ones to ensure optimal performance and hole quality.
- Monitor the drilling process to ensure the quality of the holes being drilled.
- Â Perform quality control checks using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Â Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues with drilling equipment or processes.
- Â Regularly clean and maintain drilling equipment.
- Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production flow.
- Â Keep detailed records of production output, machine settings, and quality inspection results. Contribute to process improvements by identifying opportunities to boost efficiency and minimize defects.
- Support cross‑training efforts and carry out other tasks assigned by the supervisor to meet production needs.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferably experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in using measuring tools and equipment.
- Basic computer skills for operating machine controls.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment based on OSHA and company Policies.
- Able to lift 35 lb. Occasionally, above-the-shoulder lifting.
- <20 lb. when reaching, or precision placement is required
- Understanding of English is a plus.
