Greater Portland Health is looking for an independently licensed behavioral health clinician LCSW- LADC to join a collaborative, interdisciplinary healthcare team.  The population served is primarily people experiencing homelessness. The team is mobile and will primary connect with patients in the community via our mobile medical van, with the goal of engaging patients in a low barrier environment.  The schedule would include Mondays 12-7pm, Wednesdays 8-430pm, and Thursdays 8-430pm.

  • Master’s degree in social work and licensed as a Clinical Social Worker by the State of Maine required.  
  • Excellent working knowledge of behavioral medicine and evidence-based treatments for medical and mental health conditions.  
  • Competence in emergency assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of various psychiatric/chemical dependencies to adequately meet position requirements. 
  • Competency for adults, geriatrics, and disability-based for chemical dependency required.
