Schedule: Full-Time 40 Hours Per Week

Position Overview:

The Cedars is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician. In this role, you’ll maintain our grounds, facilities, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner to support the Facilities Department. All duties will be performed in accordance with current Federal, State, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, under the direction of the Director of Facilities Management, to ensure our community remains clean, safe, and comfortable.

You’ll join a hard-working and dedicated team whose total focus is to provide the most outstanding environmental services available anywhere.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repair on the facility and equipment, including plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical work.
  • Respond to work order requests for maintenance and repairs in apartments and common areas.
  • Complete light drywall work, painting, and cleaning as needed.
  • Assist with snow removal when required.

 

 

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to perform routine maintenance and repair across multiple trades (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, mechanical)
  • Strong customer service orientation

 

Preferred:

  • 1-3 years of experience in construction/maintenance
  • Prior housekeeping, cleaning, or janitorial experience
  • Experience in a customer service-oriented industry
