Job Schedule: 9/80 (Every other Friday off)

 

Job Description:

 

Works with and interprets standard work instructions, charts, tables, blueprints, formulas, sketches, verbal and electronic orders, job layouts, etc. to accomplish assigned work. Checks and inspects operations against specified tolerances. Load and unload tunnel and calcine kilns. Will batch powder and complete paperwork. Load and unload mills. Operate spray dryers. Slip cast crucibles.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Must be able to use basic hand tools and fixturing
  • Must use PPE for appropriate protection.
  • Complete daily cleaning of powder areas.
  • Must be able to lift at least 30 pounds
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Keep an accurate completion of required documentation involved with batching powders, travelers, logs, process control data etc.
  • Cross train in other departments.
  • Work without much supervision.
  • Be able to work overtime and fill in with other shifts.
  • House keeping
  • Easily trained, work well with engineering and supervisor.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Requires developing job knowledge/skills.
  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.

 

Preferred Additional Skills:

 

  •   Basic computer skills.
  •   Mechanical experience background.
  •   Forklift operating experience.
  •   Basic math skills.
  •   Good writing and communications skills.
