We are seeking a Staff Product Manager to lead Walmart’s Data Governance Product portfolio, with an initial focus on implementing and driving adoption of our Master Data Management (MDM) system. This role is pivotal in strengthening the quality, accessibility, and trustworthiness of enterprise data across our Last Mile Delivery ecosystem—enabling accurate, compliant, and data-driven decision-making at scale.
You will sit at the intersection of data management, governance technology, and enterprise enablement, playing a critical role in realizing Spark’s vision of high-quality, well-governed, and responsibly managed data.
What you'll do...
- Define, Develop, and Enhance Products: Own product roadmaps, requirements, and rollout strategies. Align business and technical needs, analyze customer and product data, and transform insights into actionable initiatives. Manage risks and ensure successful delivery.Â
- Strategy and Vision: Shape product strategy using domain expertise, industry best practices, and market opportunities. Build business cases to drive investment and adoption.Â
- Test and Learn: Partner with analytics teams to design A/B tests, measure success, and iterate quickly. Communicate results effectively using data and UX narratives.Â
- Collaboration: Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams and secure executive buy-in. Ensure governance requirements are embedded across platforms and products.Â
- Direction: Provide clear direction by analyzing business objectives and customer needs.Â
- Data Defect & Issue Management: Conduct discovery on the health of our data, identify problem themes, and implement preventive measures. Drive product and development work to strengthen data integrity.Â
- Process & Enablement: Establish governance requirements across platforms and automate governance processes for scalability and compliance.Â
- AI Governance: Partner cross-functionally with teams utilizing Ai to ensure responsible data usage and governance.Â

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and 7+ years of product management experience; OR 9+ years of product management experience.Â
- Proven experience managing large-scale, complex B2B/C products.Â
- Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and compliance frameworks.Â
- Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) systems.Â
- Familiarity with AI governance and data privacy regulations.Â
- Background in Last Mile Delivery or e-commerce ecosystems.Â

The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00 - $286,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
