Director, Finance
Location: Corporate Office in South Sioux City, Nebraska
What You’ll Do
- Lead and develop a collaborative accounting and financial reporting team
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and regulatory filings
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and SOX requirements
- Serve as primary liaison for external audits and financial reporting matters
- Partner with executive leadership to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making
- Drive process improvements, automation, and reporting efficiencies
- Leverage financial modeling and advanced analytical tools to evaluate business performance and support data-driven decision-making
- Translate complex financial data into actionable insights and reporting that inform strategic planning and enterprise initiatives
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field – CPA required
- 10+ years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience
- Proven leadership experience managing and developing teams
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial controls (SOX experience preferred)
- Insurance or Property & Casualty experience is a plus
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience leveraging financial modeling and advanced analytical tools to support business insights and decision-making
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into meaningful, actionable financial insights
