Job Description

As a Security Officer Front Desk Alarm Monitoring in Reading, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a healthcare location, you will welcome visitors, manage access and badge procedures, monitor alarm panels, and provide outstanding customer service. You will serve as a visible, professional presence while supporting a secure, welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Pay Rate: $19.23 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, patients, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and front-desk policies.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate entry records in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor lobby activity, access points, and communication systems; report unusual activity and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, emergency response activities, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Provide directions and assistance to individuals entering the healthcare location while maintaining a professional and welcoming front-desk presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
