Job DetailsJob Location: UDP Cottontown Transfer Station - Cottontown, TN 37048 Transporting goods: Safely and efficiently transporting goods between locations using heavy trucks and tractor trailers  Adhering to regulations: Following traffic and safety regulations, and ensuring they make deliveries on time  Performing vehicle maintenance: Being responsible for basic vehicle maintenance  Completing paperwork: Completing and verifying paperwork for accuracy  Inspecting vehicles: Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle  Maintaining records: Maintaining accurate records of deliveries and pickups QualificationsCDL drivers must have a commercial driver's license (CDL), which can take three to six months to obtain. They must also be comfortable operating heavy machinery, have strong eyesight and hearing, and be in good physical health.
