This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast‑paced environments, loves solving complex problems, and enjoys working closely with end‑users across field crews, project managers, and office teams. Travel requirements are negligible, with occasional on‑site visits for user testing and rollout support.  Role Description  As an AI Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for developing high‑impact internal tools and intelligent automations that improve efficiency, accuracy, and collaboration across the organization. You will work hands‑on with stakeholders to understand operational challenges, rapidly prototype solutions, iterate based on feedback, and support successful adoption.  You will own projects end‑to‑end — from architecture and development to deployment and optimization — while ensuring systems are secure, scalable, and aligned with business needs.  Key Responsibilities  Design, build, and deploy custom internal software tools that support operational workflows.  Develop AI‑powered automations to streamline repetitive tasks and enhance decision‑making.  Integrate enterprise systems such as ERP, HRIS, project management platforms, and other internal tools.  Conduct rapid prototyping, gather user feedback, and iterate quickly to deliver practical solutions.  Collaborate closely with field crews, project managers, and office teams to understand real‑world challenges.  Provide rollout support, including training, documentation, and troubleshooting.  Maintain strong cybersecurity practices and ensure compliance with internal security standards.  Architect and manage databases, APIs, and system integrations.  Apply AI‑assisted development techniques to accelerate delivery and improve code quality.  Own projects from concept to completion with a focus on iterative delivery and continuous improvement.  QualificationsQualifications  Experience building internal business tools or workflow automation solutions.  Strong background in enterprise system integrations (ERP, HRIS, project management systems, etc.).  Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and secure development practices.  Experience with database architecture, systems engineering, and API design.  Proficiency in full‑stack software development (front‑end + back‑end).  Familiarity with AI‑assisted development tools and modern AI frameworks.  Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems with creativity and ownership.  Comfortable working in an iterative, fast‑moving environment with evolving requirements.  Sure Steel, Inc. is an equal opportunity organization.
