Job Summary
The Parts Counter Person is responsible for assisting customers and technicians in identifying and obtaining the correct parts for vehicles, ensuring efficient operations and customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities
* Assist walk-in customers and telephone inquiries in selecting required parts.
* Provide price quotes and availability information for parts.
* Locate parts using the company's inventory system and manufacturer catalogs.
* Process parts orders, including special orders, and track their delivery.
* Maintain accurate inventory records and participate in inventory counts.
* Receive, unpack, and store parts in designated locations.
* Handle warranty parts and returns according to company policy.
* Maintain a clean and organized parts counter and storage area.
* Develop and maintain strong working relationships with service technicians and other staff.
* Stay updated on new parts, products, and automotive technologies.

Job Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Previous experience in an automotive parts department or related field preferred.
* Strong knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Proficient in using computer systems for inventory management and order processing.
* Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
* Valid driver's license preferred.
