Description
Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto is a 339-bed acute care hospital located in Southaven, Mississippi. Their highly skilled and experienced doctors, nurses and staff provide a wide range of health care services, including ancillary, cancer, emergency and surgical, heart, neurology, women’s and children’s services, and more. Baptist-DeSoto was the first hospital in DeSoto County to offer open-heart surgery.

Case Assignments
Cardiovascular (CV), Neurology, Orthopedics, Obstetrics, General, Urology, Pulmonary (Bronchoscopy), Gastroenterology (EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP), Interventional Radiology and Well Peds
Shifts
Full time-8, 10 and 12 rotating shifts throughout the year with call requirements Monday-Friday. Weekend calls are voluntary.

Team Highlights
Highly autonomous environment. CRNAs are encouraged to practice at the top of their license. The anesthesia care team approach provides a collaborative work environment where CRNAs, MDs, and the surgical team share strong, respectful relationships—led by inspiring and supportive leadership.
Currently our care team model includes approximately 3 anesthesiologists and 15 CRNAs, who have created a cohesive group.
Requirements
Responsibilities
Pre-anesthesia assessment
Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
Performance of clinical intervention as needed
Requirements
Current license as a registered professional nurse
Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists

Total Rewards
Salary: $230K-253K
Sign-on Incentives (Bonus with/without retention, Training Assistance, or Loan Repayment): $50K
